Through the ages, we have discovered innumerable ways to capture our most precious moments. Where in the past people chose for oils and canvas, nowadays people prefer to use the digital language of zeroes and ones.

In As It Appears, these two methods of capturing memories are woven into one to create a modern way of saving emotions and memories for later retrieval. The choreography revolves around a man with a painting. The painting seems to be a classical piece of art, but actually is a portal giving access to emotions from the past, saved in digital format.

As It Appears is a fascinating search for reality and for ways in which technology can be used to project it.
